"Tim had a meatball Hoagie with French fries fried in beef tallow. Very yummy! And the meatballs have a great tomato taste sauce. I had Surf N' Turf Salad Bay scallops, shrimp, steak tips, grilled asparagus, tomato, locally sourced mushrooms, roasted red peppers, & white cheddar served on a bed of fresh spring mix. Every protein was cooked perfectly! The mescaline mix of leaf lettuce was a great complement. The server was very nice and anxious to please. I'm definitely going back there again! We ate early and there weren't too many others there so I hope it got busier later. Definitely rivals Stefano's. And less expensive!"

"Kavel’s is hands down one of Morgantown’s hidden gems. The food is consistently incredible, and the cocktails are so well crafted. Kait, truly Morgantown’s best bartender, makes the best red velvet espresso martini. It’s a must try. My favorite dinner dish is the marry me chicken, and their desserts are just as impressive. Their brunch is also one of my favorites in town. Overall such a great spot! 10/10 recommend!"

"My wife and I have been to Kavel's once for dinner and once for brunch. I'm glad we tried it out, because we've enjoyed it both times, especially the brunch. Our friend group has tried probably 10 different spots for brunch in Morgantown, and this was our favorite. The prices are reasonable for food and drinks. The food seems to be largely homemade, from the breakfast sausage to the sauce for the chicken sandwich, and was fresh and cooked to order. We thought the bacon and breakfast potatoes were the best we've foind in Morgantown. Portions are generous. The food all came out together for our party of 5, and it wasn't a long wait. We went on Sunday at noon and it was quiet, which was nice for atmosphere, but we hope they get busier and can stick around for a long time. The only minor ding for us was that our server didn't refill our drinks until they had been empty for a few minutes. But she was very pleasant and helpful overall and was knowledgeable about the menu. We're excited to go back and hopefully turn Kavel's into a regular brunch spot. Everyone should check it out! We also noticed they have theme nights for deals, though I failed to take a photo to share."

"Kavel's is a fantastic spot in Morgantown, WV! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive and made excellent recommendations. The food was a culinary delight! The pizza had a perfectly crispy crust and the sauce was so flavorful. The crab dip was creamy and delicious, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. It's a great place to spend a weekend night with friends or family. Highly recommend!"

"We came on a whim for the wide variety their menu offered and they did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal. The service was top tier. It’s difficult to truly explain how enjoyable our time was! The atmosphere was inviting. The servers and management are truly a step above. There is great, and then there is Kavel’s. This place is an absolute gem. If you’re looking for a clean, well versed restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable, and personable staff; look no further. 11 out of 10 we will undoubtedly return."
